5

Descent via the same valley or the alternative Russadalen for a natural loop

AVALANCHE EXPOSURE

Moderate — cornices can form on the summit ridge; avalanche terrain on steeper flanks approaching the top

“Skruven is local knowledge. The descent back toward Liabygda holds snow long into spring when every other resort-side peak is tracked out.”

— Stranda local, ski club

“Not on every guide's radar, but every local knows it. Earn your turns here and you'll understand why the regulars keep it quiet.”

— Sunnmøre ski community
