A demanding ski touring peak above the inner Storfjorden. The GPX-tracked route gains nearly 1000 vertical metres from the trailhead at 346m to the summit at 1330m, crossing varied terrain with excellent views over the fjord system.
Start from trailhead at 62.335°N, 7.096°E (elevation 346m)
Ascend south-westward through lower forest and open hillside
Route steepens above 900m — assess snowpack carefully
Summit plateau opens up with panoramic fjord views
Descend the ascent route or explore alternative lines on the northern aspect
High — steep north and northeast faces; check for wind slab above 900m before committing to the upper slopes
